I return again with another installment of Lame Saturday comics. I did some searching online this time, as the quality of the last post kinda blew. Anyways, on to the comics! This week we’ll be looking at Hagar the Horrible, Cathy, and Beetle Bailey. Lame Saturday Comics, Round 1
October 27, 2007Well true believers, believe it or not, there are people who don’t read comic books. They get their paneled goodness from a little thing called the newspaper. In my city paper, amid the crappy celebrity gossip columns and vague horoscopes lies the comics page. I hate to rag on artists who do this as their career, but God Damnit, some of these are bad. This is the first in a weekly series of articles I’ll be doing on the just plain awful comics that show up in daily papers. Please forgive the bad scans.
